PhD School in Condensed Matter, Nanoscience and Complex System - call for applications, deadline 08.09.2020
The Nanoscience Division of the Science Department at Roma TRE University offers an interdisciplinary PhD program aimed at training young researchers in the broad field of nanoscience and nanotechnology, with emphasis on the study and manipulation of physical-chemical processes at the nanoscale.

Nanoscience is a branch of Condensed Matter Sciences, where Quantum Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, and Molecular Biology contribute all together to make an impact in both fundamental aspects of science and technological applications.

For this reason, we welcome candidates with different backgrounds in science!
The PhD students will be associated with one of the research groups active in the Department and/or engaged in national and international collaborations. In particular, the Nanoscience Division has a long-standing tradition in experimental research and instruments design at Large Scale Facilities for X-ray and neutron scattering research.

Other research activities are focused on the fabrication and characterization of nanodevices and nanoparticles as well as on the study of surfaces and liquids, and on the investigation of cultural heritage materials.
