In this section you can find useful information and services supplied by University Roma Tre to incoming students (Erasmus, Exchange, Marco Polo).

Registration with the Anagrafe for EU students

Students coming from the European Union who will stay in Italy for a period of more than 3 months must register at the Town Hall of residence (Iscrizione Anagrafica).

Non-EU Students applying for visas:

Non-EU students living abroad who need to apply for a study visa should contact the Italian Consulates.

Residence Permit for non-EU students

Non-EU students, who plan to stay in Italy for more than 3 months, must request a  Residence Permit within 8 working days of arrival in Italy. After enrolment at Roma Tre, they must go to a post office with the desk “Sportello Amico” to apply for residence permit.

For any other information about residence permit, call: 848.855.888 for information about the status of application (Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.) or visit the website of Ministero dell’Interno for general information.

Non-EU students have to show proof of certified health insurance coverage in Italy (it is recommended to have a copy certified by the Italian Consulate or by Embassy in your own country). Otherwise, foreign students may buy a private insurance policy in Italy.

Tax code

To open a bank account or apply for a canteen card, it is necessary to have a tax code. It is possible to apply for it at the Agenzia delle Entrate located in Via Ippolito Nievo, 48-50, tel: 06.58.31.91 e-mail: dp.iroma@agenziaentrate.it (metro B stop “Piramide”, then tram n.3 stop Piazza Ippolito Nievo).

University canteens

University canteens provide low cost meals . They are managed by Link identifier #identifier__90222-6DiSCo Lazio  (Ente Regionale per il Diritto allo Studio e alla Conoscenza).

January/February – 4/6 weeks examinations of the reference academic year
1st March – start of the second cycle of lessons for 10/13 weeks
