EU citizens or non-EU citizens legally residing in Italy

Admission to bachelor’s degree (first cycle), master’s and single – cycle degree

Access modes:

  • Admission test (compulsory and selective);
  • Evaluation test (not compulsory and not selective).

Required documents:

  • High school diploma in original or certified copy;
  • Declaration of value related to the high school diploma, indicating the years of schooling*, with the high school diploma translated into Italian and legalized by the Italian Embassy/Consulate in the country where it was obtained, or a certificate of comparability and verification issued by the ENIC-NARIC centers (to be requested at CIMEA );
  • Certificate attesting the successful completion of any academic eligibility test required for access to the university in the country of origin.

* The years of schooling for admission to Bachelor’s degree must be at least 12.

For qualifications obtained after a schooling period of less than 12 years, it is necessary to show, in addition to the original high school diploma, the academic certification attesting to the successful completion of all required exams:

  • for the first year of university studies, in the case of a local school system of eleven years;
  • for the first two academic years, in the case of a local school system of ten years.

Admission to Master’s degrees (second cycle)

Access modes:

  • Evaluation of past foreign university career;
  • Admission test (only for some Master’s degrees).

Required documents:

  • Original or certified copy of the Bachelor’s degree;
  • Declaration of value related to the Bachelor’s degree with details of the years of schooling, including the Bachelor’s degree and the certificate of exams taken, both translated into Italian and legalized by the Italian Embassy/Consulate in the country where it was obtained, or a certificate of comparability and verification issued by the ENIC-NARIC centres (to be requested at CIMEA);
  • Programs (or description of the contents) of the courses attended at the foreign university (the same as those on the exam certificate), issued by the university and translated into Italian (valid also in French, English, Spanish, and Portuguese).

All study programs offered by Roma Tre require a registration fee of approximately € 2,000 divided into 4 instalments.
