National Survey on Career Guidance in Schools

On Thursday, 26 February 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the final conference of the PRIN 2022 project titled “National survey on
career guidance in schools. Research-training for the experimentation of a formative guidance model and the development of an
online community” will be held at the Department of Education (Aula Volpi – Via del Castro Pretorio 20).
The conference will present the results of the PRIN 2022 project, coordinated by Prof. Massimo Margottini (Roma Tre University).
In addition to our university, which is the lead institution, the project involved the research units of the following universities:

Bari (Michele Baldassarre)
Messina (Giambattista Amenta)
Urbino (Roberto Travaglini)
Trieste (Paolo Sorzio)

During the conference, the results of a national survey—conducted on a representative sample defined by INVALSI—on the
implementation of orientation activities in Italian schools within the framework of current regulations will be presented.
The outcomes of a researchtraining initiative will also be illustrated, involving various actors from the education and training system.
This initiative aimed to test a guidance model framed within a socio-constructivist theoretical approach.
