On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., the User Workshop dedicated to the RESCUE_SAT project (Agreement No. 2025-2-HB.0) will take place at the Seminar Room of the Department of Civil, Computer and Aeronautical Engineering (Via Vito Volterra 62).
The initiative is funded by the Italian Space Agency (ASI) within the framework of the Innovation for Downstream Preparation for Science (I4DP_SCIENCE) program and is developed by DICITA – Department of Civil, Computer and Aeronautical Engineering of Roma Tre University.
The event is organized with the involvement of the Engineering Council of the Province of Rome, particularly the Hydraulic Risk – Flood Risk Commission and the Innovation, University and Research Commission.
The meeting represents a preliminary step to introduce and share the project activities, with particular focus on the integration of high-resolution ASI satellite data (COSMO-SkyMed and PRISMA) into large-scale flood models for hazard mapping and flood risk assessment.
The workshop aims to foster a qualified discussion among the scientific community, institutions, professionals and interested stakeholders in order to gather feedback and contributions useful for consolidating and further developing the proposed solutions.
The morning program will include technical-scientific presentations, a demonstration of the RESCUE_SAT WebGIS platform and a roundtable discussion dedicated to the project’s application prospects and future developments.
