L’iniziativa riunirà esperti e ricercatori nazionali e internazionali per approfondire e discutere i principali processi cognitivi, emotivi e neurobiologici coinvolti nella depressione.
Il programma prevede:
- sessione mattutina (in lingua inglese), dedicata a una Keynote Session di carattere scientifico;
- sessione pomeridiana (in lingua italiana), con un incontro divulgativo rivolto a stakeholder, professionisti e cittadinanza, finalizzato a promuovere consapevolezza, prevenzione e dialogo tra ricerca e società.
On February 12, 2026, the University of Roma Tre will host a workshop dedicated to the presentation of the results of the Project of National Interest (PRIN) entitled “Targeting Attentional Biases in Depression: A Longitudinal Multimodal Neuroimaging Investigation”, funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research, with Roma Tre University as the lead institution.
The initiative brings together national and international experts and researchers to discuss the cognitive, emotional, and neurobiological processes involved in depression, with a specific focus on mechanisms of vulnerability and maintenance of the disorder, as well as implications for assessment and intervention.
The morning session will be devoted to a scientific keynote session, featuring contributions from leading scholars and the presentation of the main results of the PRIN project.
The afternoon session, held in Italian, will focus on knowledge transfer and public engagement, and is addressed to stakeholders, professionals, and students. Its aim is to increase awareness of depression as a complex and multifactorial condition, promote prevention, and encourage dialogue between scientific research, professional practice, and society.
